Blue clipper.
Rosie the Cat ( next door cat ) inspects the Blue Clipper. Since the weather was nice, I started another round of pedals. Box is simple as it kinda took me a little time to get back in the groove of building them.
Pretty simple pedal…one of the earlier ones to come out back in the day. It actually used to plug into your guitar directly.
The circuit is about as textbook of a hard-clipping op amp circuit as it gets. The only difference is that the biasing in the original circuit is a bit different. Rather than 1/2 the Vcc ( 4.5 volts) its like 90%.
Perhaps 200k/240k is more likely? Don’t trust all schematics you find on the interwebs.
